8 Best Korean Serums Under $25 for Dry Skin (2026)
8 Best Korean Serums Under $25 for Dry Skin (2026)
If you struggle with dry, dehydrated skin (especially in the Winter), Korean serums offer the best hydration without that crazy price point. We've tested loads of Korean Beauty serums available on Amazon, and these 10 deliver great moisture all for under $25. Here are my honest reviews and why each one made the list.
1. Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum - $16.95
With 60% Propolis & 2% Niacinamide, the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum tackles uneven tone, dark spots, and dryness to reveal luminosity and your very own glow. Not only is it very hydrating, it also helps with the appearance of pores, it's great at balancing oil production and soothing and calming the skin.
Ingredients breakdown:
Propolis Extract: also known as "Bee Glue" is collected by honey bees from bark and tree buds known for it's natural antibacterial, anti-fungal and and anti-inflammatory properties.
Niacinamide: a form of vitamin B3 best used to treat acne, reduce redness, strengthen your skin barrier and improve overall skin texture.
Why we love it:
It's a serum that genuinely does what it says. Since using it, we've noticed immediate oil control and an actual 'glow' (which is hard to come by in these Winter months). It's also easy to layer, you don't need to wait ages for it to dry before putting on your moisturiser or any other serums. It's a great, daily product with proven results.
Best for:
Oily skin
Dull complexion
Enlarged pores
What we would change:
Honestly there's not much that would deter us from buying this serum. The only thing we agreed was the dropper isn't the best, you need to go back into the bottle a couple of times to get enough serum. But that's all.
2. Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum - $23.28
This serum by Anua is all about hydration with PDRN, Collagen and 11 types of Hyaluronic Acid giving your skin that plump, glowing look. It's designed to give you a natural radiance and glass skin by maintaining moisture and smoothing texture.
Ingredients breakdown:
PDRN: a more newer ingredient in Korean Beauty that helps repair skin and boost hydration at a cellular level, leaving skin looking healthier, boosted and more resilient.
Collagen: helps maintain skin elasticity and firmness while supporting the moisture barrier.
Hyaluronic Acid: the holy grail of hydration that holds up to 1000x its weight in water, plumping the skin and smoothing fine lines.
Why we love it:
It's a great first layer to the skin care routine. We like to use hyaluronic acid products on a wet face as that's how you can get the most out of it, so we've been putting it on straight after a shower. It soaks in quickly, it's not sticky and it genuinely leaves our skin looking plump and hydrated.
Best for:
Dry to combination skin
Dull complexion
What we would change:
This is a great serum for beginner PDRN users, but for those with a bit more experience using PDRN we would recommend a serum with a bit of a higher concentration.
3. COSRX Snail Mucin Repairing Serum - $17.99
With an amazing 96.3% Snail Secretion Filtrate, the COSRX Snail Mucin Essence is a favorite for good reason. This lightweight serum repairs damaged skin, retains moisture deep down, and rejuvenates dull, dehydrated skin while tackling fine lines.
Ingredients breakdown:
Snail secretion filtrate: also known as "Snail Mucin" is full of ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid and glycoproteins that stimulate collagen, repair skin damage and deliver great hydration.
Why we love it:
The texture is gel-like and absorbs quickly, making it perfect for layering under moisturizer and doesn't affect make-up application. We've noticed smoother, more plump skin after consistent use. Plus, knowing that no snails are harmed in the process (they collect the mucin in a safe, natural environment) makes us feel good about using it.
Best for:
Damaged skin in need of repair
Fine lines and signs of ageing
Dry skin
Dull complexion
What we would change:
The consistency can feel slightly slimy when you first pump it out, however it does absorb beautifully. If you're someone who's squeamish about the idea of snail mucin, it might take some mental convincing, but it's worth it!
4. SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule - $16.40
Recently made popular by Heated Rivalry's Hudson Williams, SKIN1004's Centella serum is a gentle powerhouse for calming irritated or sensitive skin. The single-ingredient formula (yes, it's literally just Centella extract!) focuses on reinforcing your skin barrier, hydrating deeply, and giving you that healthy, balanced glow we all crave.
Ingredients breakdown:
Centella Asiatica Extract: also known as "Tiger Grass" this ingredient is perfect strengthening your skin barrier, calming redness, and generating skin repair.
Why we love it:
This serum is simple, but one of the most effective we've tried. It's soothing, anti-inflammatory and promotes skin healing and it's visually noticeable after only a few uses. We've been using it in the AM and PM because we can't get enough of the glow it gives us.
Best for:
Sensitive skin
Redness or irritation
Damaged skin
What we would change:
It's very lightweight and a more watery texture, so some people who prefer a thicker serum might feel like it's not rich enough. But we are convinced by this ingredient and this serum.
5. Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum - $22
This beautiful pink serum is made with Salmon DNA PDRN, five types of peptides, niacinamide, and adenosine to target dull, uneven skin while boosting elasticity and hydration. The lightweight, milky texture absorbs quickly and layers beautifully with other products, making it an easy addition to any routine.
Ingredients breakdown:
Salmon DNA PDRN: also known as "salmon sperm" is a bio-active ingredient that promotes skin regeneration, boosts collagen, and helps repair damaged skin for a clearer, more luminous complexion.
Peptide Complex: amino acid chains that signal your skin to produce more collagen, helping to firm and smooth the appearance of fine lines.
Niacinamide: a form of vitamin B3 best used to treat acne, reduce redness, strengthen your skin barrier and improve overall skin texture.
Adenosine: a water-soluble yeast-derived ingredient that helps smooth wrinkles and boosts the production of collagen and elastin.
Why we love it:
This serum genuinely delivers on the "glass skin" promise. After a few weeks of use, we noticed our skin looking brighter, more even-toned, and noticeably plumper. It's gentle enough for daily use despite being packed with so many ingredients. It's become a daily staple.
Best for:
Normal to dry kin
Dull or uneven skin tone
Early signs of aging
What we would change:
It's pretty, it's pink and it works but the price point is slightly higher than other serums. That being said, I think it's worth it.

6. Mixsoon Bean Essence - $23.98
This serum made viral on TikTok took the skin care world by storm, and honestly, we get why. The Mixsoon Bean Essence is a dual-purpose serum that exfoliates gently while staying deeply hydrating, making it perfect for anyone with textured or bumpy skin. With fermented bean, barley, pomegranate, and Korean pear, all of these ingredients work together to brighten your complexion, deliver antioxidants and smooth skin texture.
Ingredients breakdown:
Fermented Bean Extract: derived from soybeans and packed with nutrients, it can significantly improve skin texture by exfoliating and smoothing without irritation.
Fermented Barley: it's amino acids and minerals really help healing and support skin.
Fermented Pomegranate: with natural AHAs, this ingredient exfoliates rough and flakey skin.
Fermented Korean Pear: naturally hydrating and soothing, it helps calm irritation and provides an extra moisture boost.
Why we love it:
This essence is very versatile as a gentle exfoliator 2-3 times a week by massaging it into your skin until little bits of dead skin start to pill off, or you can apply it daily as a hydrating essence. We've noticed smoother skin texture and a more radiant glow and is our go-to for days when our skin feels sensitive.
Best for:
Textured or rough skin
Dull complexion
Sensitive skin
What we would change:
As a hydrating serum, this is great. If you want this as an exfoliator only, it's not the most effective in exfoliation. But, if you've got sensitive skin that struggles with rougher exfoliators, this is the product for you.

7. BIODANCE Hydro Cera-nol Serum - $21.90
BIODANCE have gone viral for their collagen sheet masks which have been well-used by us. And now they've put their formulas in serum form, what more could we ask for? This BIODANCE Hydro Cera-nol Serum is all about delivering deep, lasting hydration with a focus on barrier repair. It penetrates multiple layers of the skin to hydrate, soothe redness, and lock in moisture for hours.
Ingredients breakdown:
Ceramides: Lipids that naturally exist in your skin barrier. They help seal in moisture and protect against environmental damage, keeping your skin plump and resilient.
D-Panthenol: a pro-vitamin B5 that's a soothing, anti-inflammatory ingredient working on calming irritation and replenishing moisture.
Hyaluronic acid: the holy grail of hydration that holds up to 1000x its weight in water, plumping the skin and smoothing fine lines.
Why we love it:
This serum is a lifesaver if you're dealing with damaged or dehydrated skin. The texture is gel-like, but it absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling soft and bouncy without any stickiness. We've noticed less redness and tightness since using it, and our skin genuinely looks more radiant.
Best for:
Sensitive skin
Dehydrated skin
Redness or irritation
What we would change:
The bottle is quite small (1.01 fl oz), so if you're using it twice daily like we are, you'll go through it fairly quickly.
👉 Find it on Amazon.
8. Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Serum - $15.99
This serum has been developed by the famous Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic in Korea, best known for treating atopic skin diseases, so already we were convinced. This calming serum is formulated to soothe angry, irritated skin while delivering deep hydration. It's packed with great ingredients that all work together to control excess sebum, calm redness and strengthen your skin's moisture barrier.
Ingredients breakdown:
Centella Asiatica Extract: also known as "Cica" is the ultimate soothing ingredient that calms inflammation, reduces redness, and promotes skin healing.
Tea Tree & Lonicera Japonica Flower Extract: natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients that control excess oil and calm breakouts.
5 Types of Hyaluronic Acid: different molecular weights work together to hydrate at multiple skin layers.
Ceramides & Peptides: reinforce the skin barrier and deliver intense moisture, keeping skin plump and resilient against external factors.
Why we love it:
This serum is really great for sensitive or acne-prone skin. The texture is light, absorbing instantly without any residue, and it genuinely calms irritation within minutes. Fewer breakouts, less redness, and our skin feels stronger and more hydrated.
Best for:
Acne-prone skin
Redness, irritation or inflammation
Oily or combination skin
What we would change:
The watery texture might feel too lightweight for people with extremely dry skin. If that's you, you might need to layer it with a richer moisturizer.
